Devyn Flesher
Devyn Flesher is a writer and mom from Vancouver Island in British Columbia. She has a degree in Art History with a focus on Media Studies from the University of Victoria.
In 2008, while still breast feeding her 13 month old daughter, Devyn was diagnosed with breast cancer and began blogging about her experience with cancer as a breast feeding mom. This blog led to her launching a writing career and she has recently completed her first novel and has begun work on a second.
Now cancer free and expecting her second child, Devyn is embarking on the new experience of what it means to go through a pregnancy, have a baby and breast feed after cancer.
Jeanette Albright
My name is Jeanette Albright and I am the Chapter Leader for ToledoAreaMommies. I "retired" from structural engineering after my first baby was born to stay at home. My husband Aaron and I live in a log home in Michigan with our three kids and one dog. I am a certified natural childbirth educator as well as a Happiest Baby educator and a passionate lactavist. I would love to pursue IBCLC status and find more opportunities to be a doula at my students births.
Kelly Hamilton
I am a former elementary school teacher turned stay at home mom that married my high school sweetheart in 2006. We welcomed our first child, a son named Carter, on my birthday in March 2010. We have two Jack Russell Terrier pups. I am currently training for my first triathlon and also love playing tennis.
I have been breastfeeding my son for the past 18 months and can't wait to share my experience, advice and tips to new moms!
